Terms & Conditions (Terms of Service)

Operator: Makana Ventures LLC (“Makana,” “we,” “us”)

1) Agreement to these Terms

By accessing or using the Service, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2) Who can use KINGDOM

  • You must be at least 21 years old.

  • You must provide accurate information and keep your account information up to date.

  • We can refuse service, suspend, or terminate accounts for any reason permitted by law, including violations of these Terms.

3) What KINGDOM does (and doesn’t do)

KINGDOM is an online subscription service that helps connect people.

We do not guarantee that you will find a match, make friends, or have a particular outcome. Connections depend on user participation and availability.

4) Accounts

You’re responsible for:

  • Maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials

  • All activity under your account

  • Not sharing your account or using someone else’s account

Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access.

5) Subscriptions, billing, and cancellation

  • Paid subscriptions: Access may require a paid subscription.

  • Billing: You authorize us (and our payment processor) to charge your payment method on a recurring basis until you cancel.

  • Cancellation: You can cancel at any time through your account settings or by contacting support at hello@joinkingdom.co. Cancellation stops future renewals; you will retain access until the end of your current billing period unless stated otherwise.

  • Refunds: Refunds are considered case-by-case within 30 days of purchase, except for misuse, chargebacks, or policy violations

6) Community rules and prohibited behavior

You agree not to:

  • Harass, threaten, stalk, or discriminate against anyone

  • Impersonate anyone or misrepresent your identity

  • Share someone else’s personal information without permission

  • Use the Service for illegal activities, spam, or solicitation

  • Attempt to access or probe our systems or user data

  • Post or transmit harmful code or abusive content

We may remove content and suspend or terminate accounts for violations.

7) Meeting people in real life

If users meet offline, you do so at your own risk. KINGDOM is not an events company and does not supervise in-person meetings.

Safety tips: meet in public, tell a friend, don’t share sensitive info, and trust your instincts.

8) User content and license

You may be able to submit content (profile info, messages, photos, etc.). You:

  • Represent you have the rights to post it

  • Grant Makana a non-exclusive, worldwide license to host, store, reproduce, and display that content solely to operate and improve the Service

We can remove content that violates these Terms.

9) Intellectual property

The Service, its design, branding, and software are owned by Makana or its licensors. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reverse engineer any part of the Service except as allowed by law.

10) Third-party services

We may use third-party providers (payment processors, email tools, analytics, hosting, etc.). Your use may be subject to their terms. We are not responsible for third-party services outside our control.

11) SMS Messaging Program

If you provide a mobile number and opt in, you consent to receive text messages from Makana Ventures LLC (operating the KINGDOM service) at the number provided. Messages may include account notifications, service updates, support messages, and (if you separately opt in) marketing/promotional messages.

  • Message frequency: Varies.

  • Msg & data rates: Message and data rates may apply. 

  • Opt out: Reply STOP to cancel at any time. 

  • Help: Reply HELP for help. 

  • Consent: Consent to receive texts is not a condition of purchase.

12) Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE.” TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, MAKANA DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

13) Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, MAKANA WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL.

OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM RELATING TO THE SERVICE WILL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE PAST 12 MONTHS.

14) Indemnification

You agree to defend and indemnify Makana from claims arising out of your use of the Service, your content, or your violation of these Terms.

15) Termination

You can stop using the Service anytime. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms or if we discontinue the Service.

16) Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms. If changes are material, we’ll provide reasonable notice. Continued use means you accept the updated Terms.

17) Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Washington, excluding conflict-of-laws rules.
